Arm Lift and Thigh Lift
A surgical lift may be necessary if fitness and weight control efforts have not achieved patient’s goals for a body that is firmer, more youthful-looking and more proportionate to your overall body silhouette.
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that:
- Reduces excess sagging skin that droops downward (so called ‘batwing’ deformity) via incisions in armpit area (axilla) or along the back of upper arm.
- Tightens and smoothes the underlying supportive tissue (Superficial Fascial System -SFS) that defines the shape of the upper arm
- Reduces localized pockets of fat or reduces adipose tissue layer uniformly circumferentially in the upper arm region ( liposculpting)
Thigh lift surgery reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body. Incisions are normally placed in groins or at the bikini line of the outer thigh surface. Liposuction is normally performed all the way around thighs (circumferentailly).
Arm and thigh lift candidates include:
- Adults with significant upper arm skin laxity ;inner or outer thighs significant soft tissue excess
- Adults of any age whose weight is relatively stable and who are not significantly overweight
- Healthy individuals without medical conditions that impair healing or increase risk of surgery
- Nonsmokers
- Individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations
- People who comitted to healthy life style , including balanced diet and physical activities
