Soften Signs of Aging
Dermal fillers are safe injectable products that replace lost soft tissue, and are used to replenish the skin’s natural volume. They are often used to soften signs of aging, for example the smile lines (as seen on photos below), or to enhance the lips, the cheeks, or chin.
How long does it take?
After application of a local anaesthetic cream, the procedure is practically painless, and takes less than 45 minutes.
What I will look like immediately after the treatment and is there any recovery time?
Results are immediate. Patients might experience some slight swelling or redness, but this disappears in a day or two.
What types of dermal fillers are used?
In our clinic we only use well-known, highly reputable brands of fillers.
Are dermal fillers safe and are there any complications?
Modern dermal fillers have an excellent safety record, and our practice is a CQC regulated medical clinic. All our injectable fillers are administered by NHS registered trained and qualified medical staff.
How long do results last?
Results can remain effective from 12 months up to 5 years, depending on the type of product used and the area of treatment.

Dermal fillers can be used:
- For lip enhancement to get volume, shape and corrrect asymmetry. It makes lips more sensual and they still can feel soft and natural
- For cheek enhancement to emphasize cheek bones and correct facial balance
- For wrinkle correction for smile lines , hollows and dimpling
- For facial contouring to enhance jaw line
- For non-surgical so called ‘liquid face lift’, when volume correctinion, rebalancing and redistribution gives visual effect of face looking more youthful and tighter.
- For non-surgical nose correction to eliminated minor deformities, bumps or indentations . It also helps to enhance nasal bridge and uplift the nasal tip.
- For buttock and body enhancement a special dermal filler for body is used. Its cheaper and less invasive than fat grafting or implants . It can add volume and correct indentations and asymmetries.
Lanluma (formely know as Sculptra) is a volumising soft tissue stimulator and has slightly different properties to dermal fillers. It relies on production of natural collagen and soft tissue to increase volume and correct defects, so its effect takes from a few weeks to few months.
